Itinerary: Lima-Santa Eulalia-Carampoma-Santa Eulalia-Lima.
Santiago de Carampoma rural community is located in the upper watershed of the Santa Eulalia river.
Japani polylepis forest is the habitat of the endemic White-checked Cotinga. Other birds that can be seen in this area includes Stripe-headed Antpitta and the endemics Striped Earthcreeper, Black Metaltail and Black-breasted Hillstar. Andean Condors had also been observed around this area. Keep the relict polylepis forest (Polylepis flavipila and Polylepis racemosa)

11:00 am The tour will start in Carampoma countryside in Santa Eulalia River. Then continuing the visit with the walk to Japani polylepis forest.
